Hi all I am looking to design Arm Soc chip can any one guide me for books to start.

Chip Designing involves various steps:

  • First to have an idea and then defining specifications.
  • Building logic
  • RTL coding (usually Verilog/VHDL )
  • Gate Level Netlist
  • Physical Design (Layout)
  • GDS II
  • Fabrication
  • Packaging

I am not sure about the specific case of Arm chips, but you have to focus on these main things. I am not able to find any good books. But you may google books related above mention domain. You may also find some good courses in the udemy also.
