Hello, I want to separate the items thrown in the trash as metal, plastic and paper, which sensor should be used and which methods should be followed.
You can use Capacitive or inductive proximity sensor.
For the method you need to look at the datasheet of the sensor that you will use in order to know how it can be programmed.
